Dine and Develop

Join Senior Resource Council for Dine & Develop on August 19 as we welcome Emily Brady with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) for an important discussion on mental health and aging.
Mental health plays a vital role in overall well-being, yet it is often overlooked among older adults and the caregivers who support them. This educational presentation will explore common mental health challenges facing seniors, the impact caregiving can have on emotional wellness, and strategies for recognizing when additional support may be needed.
Attendees will gain a better understanding of mental health resources, learn how to reduce stigma through compassionate conversations, and discover ways to support both older adults and caregivers in maintaining emotional and mental well-being.
Whether you work directly with seniors, support family caregivers, or simply want to expand your knowledge of this critical topic, this presentation will provide practical insights and valuable resources you can apply in your professional and personal life.
Join us at Revel Province for lunch, learning, and meaningful conversation centered on supporting mental wellness throughout the aging journey.
