A-B-C-D- Networking: This month we have Zachary Barker, CEcD, presenting on making connections that count through networking.

Get to know Zachary Barker, CEcd, MS:

Hailing from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Zachary Barker is a certified economic developer (CEcD) specialized in entrepreneurship-led economic development strategies and entrepreneur development training. He is the founder of Startup Support Center, which provides entrepreneur training focused on the development of the individual entrepreneur – building a resilient mindset, developing confidence in selling, and designing executable action plans.

Zachary is recognized as an expert economic development professional by multiple organizations including the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), International Business Innovation Association (InBIA), and Oklahoma University’s Economic Development Institute. He has successfully built and accelerated entrepreneur ecosystems in Nashville, Tennessee, Lafayette, Louisiana, and Colorado Springs, Colorado. In addition to his economic development expertise, Zachary is also recognized as an expert trainer in revenue growth and support consulting for entrepreneurs.

Zachary holds a Master of Science degree in Economic Development from Murray State University, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He is happily married to his beautiful wife, Dr. Nancy Dubuisson Barker, and is daddy to two rescue dogs, Millie the Bean and Java Lava.

There will be limited networking before these meetings. Please check in by 8:15. Presentations will begin at 8:20.

Members are always welcome to bring a non-member and first time guest to SRC events. $25 fee applies if your guest has attended SRC events in the past and is not yet a member. Donations are always welcome.
